In the area of the over dramatic I should get an award for this cartoon. Yes it is  blown out of proportion as if I am signing a historic document but in many ways it is historic to me. It is the end of almost 17 years of work. I would highly recommend to anyone getting laid off to consult with a employment attorney. Employment law is no joke and there is a ka-zillon laws concerning your rights and a ka-zillion lawyers out there to choose from. Oddly enough the attorney that was recommend to me was from all places Ireland, Considering I was laid off by a person from Ireland this was quite a coincidence. I was given some advice and questions to ask HR. They also reviewed the content of this site-no worries. I went ahead and signed the separation notice and delivered to the office which was kind of weird to go back there.  But I escaped with only one guy from the help desk seeing me. I guess I could have just mailed it back. I did notice that the last piece of artwork I did was hanging over the copy machine.
