I am calling this Laid Off Shock and Awe Week… Shockingly I still find myself checking my iPhone for work emails. I have never had a time where I was not checking on work. I am shocked at finding out who the other employees are that were let go. I am shocked at some of reasons I have heard for the layoffs. I was called today by a vendor that I have worked with for at least 14 years. He had heard from a friend that works at one of our competitors in Florida about  the layoffs and was calling me to find out what had happened. He had called my work number but got my voice mail. So it would Shockingly seem that my phone has not been forwarded. So I just now called my work number and got my voicemail. Shockingly it does appear my email has been shut down. I am in Awe of all the nice texts and messages I have received from co-workers and associates. Invites for drinks etc.,etc.,etc., and I still say that at the end of Mad Men it was Don Draper who came up with the Coke commercial!!! And no one called me about picking up my stuff????
